| News on ACCCRN Vietnam Methodology Workshop at NISTPASS |

The Asian
Cities Climate Change Resilience Network in Vietnan (ACCCRN Vietnam) supported
by Rockefeller Foundation hold two day Research Methodology Workshop at the
National Institute for S&T Policy and Strategic Studies (NISTPASS) Hanoi
during 05-06 March 2009. NISTPASS designated by Rockefeller Foundation to be
the Research Coodinator of the ACCCRN Vietnam has hosted the workshop with the
participaton of 29 experts, scientists and officials coming from US, Canada,
Thailand and Vietnam (from Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Can Tho and Hanoi). The objective
of the workshop is to identify and develop approaches and methodologies for
designing research activities during the next ten months. The expected results
of the workshop include: (1)Detailed TORs for key institutions involved through
sub-contracts with NISTPASS; (2) Proximate to detailed research work plan to
conduct in each city and coordinated with local city (and coordinated with
Challenge to Change CTC) and (3) Work plan for each key partner institution.
